My dear sister Columbiettes,

Time sure is flying by... Can you believe it’s already time to say Welcome to 2017! With the New Year comes time to reflect, Reflect on the love we have for our family, the love we have for our faith and the love we have for each other. Thank you to each and every one of you for sharing a part of your life with the Columbiettes.

My hope for this upcoming year it to see each of our fundraisers be a success, because that is how we raise money to support the charities in our community so they can continue to help others. I would love to be able to say there is just no one that needs our help but unfortunately we all know that’s not true, so we must continue to be vigilant in supporting all our chairladies leading our fundraising efforts.

So is everyone still on cookie overload?? We sure did end up with a lot of great tasting cookies at the cookie swap. It was nice to relax and enjoy each other’s company and conversations to kick off the Christmas Season and of course Hats off to the Chef for the Knights that evening who fed everyone afterwards. Thank you to the Grand Knight for inviting us to join their repast.

Don’t forget the Dues are due for the New Year and you could help save the Columbiettes money by paying your dues at the upcoming meeting or by sending a check in to St. Regis Columbiettes, P.O. Box 57, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779. General members’ dues are $20 and Honorary Life Members are $5. If you are paying for more than one person please include all names in a note to us with your check. You will receive your membership card as your receipt.

Thank you to all the chairladies and those that helped them to make the St. Regis Christmas Parties a Success. I attended the evening one hosted byAnne and Joe Dinero. Every year I do not think that it could be any better and every year they surprise me because it always is. I heard the Day time Christmas Party was a party to remember! Not only was it really enjoyable, but it had a surprise furry guest attend the event! I’m sure everyone that attended will remember the party! Luckily no harm came to anyone or to our furry friend.

The next Columbiette meeting is January 11th at 8pm. Hope to see you all there!
